Chris Pugh speaks to his summer serving in remote Manitoba communities has helped him see his journey into the priesthood through the eyes of other people, while Deacon Santiago Torres tells the story of his unprecedented experience bringing Holy Communion to the Pope himself.

Fr. Shayne Craig named to lead worldwide Sulpicians

On July 8, 2022 Rev. Shayne Craig, PSS was voted as the new Superior General of Saint Sulpice.

Rev. Shayne a past Seminarian, Director and Rector of St. Joseph Seminary will be leaving the Seminary after 28 years of Ministry at the Seminary.

Ordained a Priest for the Diocese of Victoria on June 28, 1992 the new Superior General will now be working in Montréal and Paris. 

He is the first Canadian Sulpician to be named to this position.

Superior General Rev. Shayne, PSS, St. Joseph Seminary would like to sincerely thank you for your many years of service.

May the Lord continue to guide you in your new position within the Church.

Public Masses to resume in October 2022

We are beginning our Public Masses on Wednesdays this year, starting in October.

 They will take place at 11:30 a.m. on each first Wednesday of the month as follows:

  • October 5, 2022

  • December 7, 2022
  • No Public Mass January 2023
  • February 1, 2023
  • March 1, 2023
