The Society of the Priests of Saint Sulpice is a community of priests whose vocation is to serve those who are ordained to the priestly ministry: priests and future priests (Constitutions, Art. 1). In order to remain close to those they serve, they choose to remain diocesan priests and incardinated to their original diocese. They make no special vows or promises. These priests are united by priestly charity and the will to carry out their ministry under the authority of their superiors with the help and obligations of a fraternal community life.
